Pakistan Red Crescent Society KP

The Pakistan Red Crescent Society was established under the Pakistan Red Crescent Society Act, 1920 (amended in 1974). It is the only National Society of the Red Cross and Red Crescent in Pakistan and is recognized by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC).

PRCS operates as auxiliary to public authorities in humanitarian service
It serves as the sole authorized entity for use of the Red Crescent emblem in Pakistan
PRCS maintains neutrality and impartiality in all operations
The Society is governed by its own Act of Parliament and the statutes of the RCRC Movement
PRCS Provincial Branches operate under the national charter with regional mandates

PRCS Khyber Pakhtunkhwa operates as a provincial branch under this national charter, delivering humanitarian services in line with the seven Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement: Humanity, Impartiality, Neutrality, Independence, Voluntary Service, Unity, and Universality.
