Since the establishment of Pakistan Red Crescent Society Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in 1973, Pakistan Red Crescent Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been playing its role in serving humanity as well as improving the capacity of various institutions in peace time. The purpose of the institution formed under the Constitution of Pakistan is to act as a Auxiliary body of the government. That is why since 2005 alone, the Pakistan Red Crescent Society Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has assisted more than 14 million people in the province. Including 2005 earthquake, the IDP camps during the 2008 operations, the 2010 floods, and the COVID19 Pandemic as well as the recent flood situation. More than 170 million cost of relief materials have been delivered to the communities in need so far.
